How To Use This Tool

The Poon.tv screenshot tool was designed to help you make fast, beautiful, fullscreen captures of your favorite Chaturbate models, live in real time. No fuss. No cropping. And no cumbersome bullshit. Our goal was to make snapping Chaturbate screenshots as fast and seamless as possible. But to take full advantage of this tool you will need to make some quick (free) modifications to your web browser.

1. Use Chrome

We recommend Google Chrome. It seems to be the most reliable browser for applications like this, and in our testing, Chrome produces the best results. Other browsers and extensions work in a similar fashion, but this tutorial assumes that you're using Chrome.

2. Install the Free "Nimbus Screenshot" Extension

We've tested many screenshot utilities, and Nimbus seems to be the simplest (free) solution. Once installed and configured, you'll have lightning-fast, one-click screenshots of all your favorite Chaturbate / Poon.tv models.

To install Nimbus, go to the Extension Manager in Chrome by clicking this link or open (Menu > More Tools > Extensions). Then simply search for "Nimbus Screenshot." The search results will yield an APP and an Extension -- choose the Extension by clicking the "Add to Chrome" button.

In seconds the extension will install and you'll have a new icon on your browser. Something like this:

3. Configure Nimbus Screenshot for Speedy Results

To start, right-click on the new Nimbus icon and select "Options." The setup couldn't be simpler. We recommend the following:

1. Change PNG to JPG
2. Move the quality slider somewhere between 92 and 95. Higher yields better quality images, but slightly larger file sizes.
3. Delete everything in the "File Name Pattern" box and then paste in this line: {domain}-{title}-{date}-{time}
4. "Hide Fixed Elements" should be checked.
5. "Enable Quick Screenshot" should be checked.
6. And then under "Enable Quick Screenshot" select "Visible Part of Page" and "Download"
7. All the other settings are optional.

4. Load any Chaturbate Model into the Tool

You can load any live Chaturbate model into the screenshot tool by pointing your browser to: Poon.tv/snap/any_model_name

If you followed the setup instructions above, then whenever you see a nice shot, simply click the Nimbus Screenshot button one time, and you'll get a perfect, no-hassle capture every time. Each image is saved to your hard drive in fullscreen resolution without the need for additional cropping, editing, etc.

BONUS TIP #1: Framing Screenshots

To perfectly frame your screenshots, try sizing your browser so that it fits the video dimensions. The video will shrink and stretch as you play with your browser dimensions. You'll notice that under certain circumstances some of the video can get cut off if the browser window is the wrong shape.

BONUS TIP #2: Low Quality Video

If you notice low quality video, here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Some models put out great, HD quality video, but many do not. If the model broadcasts a low quality feed, there's very little we can do about it. But there are a few things you can try...
2. Like Netflix, Amazon Video, and other streaming services, Chaturbate automatically delivers the best video quality based on your available bandwidth/speed. The process of speed testing your bandwidth and then buffering the appropriate video stream takes some time. So be patient. If you load a model's page and experience low quality, wait for a 2-3 minutes and allow the stream to run. It will usually self-correct and send you the highest quality feed available.
3. If the picture quality does not improve automatically, you can try setting the video quality manually. Here's how:
   • Click the "Chat" link under the Poon.tv logo
   • After the videochat interface loads, look for a settings gear icon under the model's video feed:
     
     
   • If you have fast internet, select the highest quality available, and give it a little time to buffer.
   • Experiment with that setting until you get the best quality you can achieve without causing skipping and stuttering.
   • Once satisfied, you can return to fullscreen mode by clicking the "Fullscreen" link.
   • The page will reload and after a brief time, Chaturbate should send you the high quality video.
4. Unfortunately, some models send such low quality feeds that even the above steps will leave you with unsatisfactory results. The best way to solve this issue is to size down your browser to a smaller window (as discussed in Bonus Tip #1 above). This will yield smaller, but more pleasing screenshots.

BONUS TIP #4

This tool is optimized for desktops and tablets in landscape mode. Due to the technology limitations of smaller devices, like phones, this tool does not work well in those environments.
